Been listening lately to fast paced music in hope that the days will pass by faster, but apparently it wasn't really working out so well. Demonstration today for the Final Year Project went smoother than expected, definitely in terms of my initiate fear that we might have a re-demonstration was unfounded. Study plans this weekend have to be shelved when my dragon-boat teammate called and informed me I have been placed in the competition team for the coming MR500! Definitely very happy, but I will need to step up my training intensity everyday if I am not to be a burden to the team. Hopefully at the end of these 8 weeks or so before the competition I will be able to reach the standards of some of the senior rowers in the team.
